Intro
Hi! My name is Andrea Alesani, and I am an EIT Digital student currently attending courses at Université Paris-Saclay.
This website documents - week by week - the evolution of my project for the Digital Fabrication course held at FabLab in Université Paris-Saclay.
The project consists in creating a 3D artifact with a software, such as Fusion 360 or Tinkercad, and then printing it with the machinery available at FabLab. The only constraint is to print with PHA (a recyclable material) and to only limit the thickness to 1mm. In order to make 3D objects, we have to print more plain pieces that fit together in order to produce a volumetric shape. The course also tries to push you towards building a modular design that starts from a primitive shape and, also thanks to connectors and interlocking mechanism, replicates it over and over in order to create a bigger object.
If you want to know more about me, you can head to my GitHub or reach me out on LinkedIn.
The website was developed using Docusaurus. Special thanks to Nicolò Sonnino for the help and suggestions.
