Week 6

I finally managed to print my new connectors and try them out with the rest of my pieces. I was lucky to find the new black filament on a printer, so I could try it out. I am quite satisfied of the results, as the final object is kind-of "color coded", having white pieces interlinked by black connectors.

Below some photos of the results.

An overall picture of the project.

A focus on some newly printed shapes, such as the exclamation mark that can mark some important event happening (this shape in particular could have been printed on white, but I was using the black filament and I still wanted to see the result of it).

A focus on the connectors used to insert more "events" (hexagonal shapes) in a single day without making the chain too long.

A focus on the upper connectors. They are the same as the previous connectors but they were used together to create a new, bigger connector that could hold multiple chains.

A final focus on the black shapes I printed. In particular, the black hexagons could have different usages. Here, they were used to end the chains and balance the overall structure by adding some weight.
