Week 5

I decided to go for the 7-day calendar chain. Now, even with a weekly-based agenda, the chain might still end up being very long depending on the number of events the user has in one day. I tried addressing the problem by designing a new type of connector that is appended to a connector and doubles it into two new connectors.

The connector has a thick arm (0.6mm) in order for it to hold the weight and not deform. On the contrary, the final part of the connector, namely the small vertical arms, are still 0.3mm thick so that it's easier for the user to stick the connectors together.

Finally, I also designed a connector to revert the "duplication" to go back to one single connector. It can be useful for example when a new "day" piece has to be inserted at the end of a day with multiple events.
